Some of us who are more engineer minded, chiseled dovetail corners for sturdier construction. |

I baked 8 gingerbread houses for my family to assemble during our gathering for Christmas. The guys (and possibly even my Mom) had never experienced this before, so it was a very fun activity. One house needed a cardboard roof replacement, the icing bag burst, houses fell apart, lots of candy was consumed by the youngest construction worker and great memories were made. We indeed built a mini village, complete with a church, barn, hospital and even our very own Grinch.
