We colored eggs with a typical, store-bought kit. Not "natural" at all, but simple and easy. I was pleasantly surprised how well the brown eggs (in the last picture above) took the dye. The deep colors are so rich and appealing to me.
In the dining room window I have cotton growing. Last year I started some outdoors, but it didn't do well at all, so I'm starting them way ahead of time this year and planning a better location for 2018's "crop." We shall see how it does this far north...
I'm excited to start some lupine, eucalyptus and craspedia billy ball flowers this year too. Has anyone ever grown any of these before? I'd love to know your experience or tips.
