I'm Not a Fashion Blogger
But I decided to take pictures of what I wore last week for my own amusement, and perhaps yours too. Ha! You see, with packing very, very light for this trip, I'm having fun mixing and matching my outfits. Everything must go with everything, and so far it's going pretty well.
So on Thursday, we went to the gym and had a good workout. Of course, I didn't wear jeans to work out in, but I wasn't going to bike through town wearing yoga pants either.
My Outfit: T-shirt: Down East Basics // Sweater: Loft, exact one here on E-bay
Jeans: Levi's, (similar)
Natasha's Outfit: Shirt: Kids Gap // Skirt: Frothy Bubble Skirt, made by me
On Friday we made a special trip to the Spotlight store, for sparkly pipe cleaners.
My Outfit: T-shirt: Down East Basics // Sweater: Banana Republic
Jeans: Levi's, similar // Shoes: Croft and Barrow flats, E-bay
Natasha's Outfit: Shirt: Kids Gap // Skirt: Made by me
Bag: Made by me
Saturday's outfit ended up being very boring since I cleaned house. So we'll skip Saturday and go right to Sunday. I wore jeans once again for our bike ride to church, then changed once there.
T-shirt: Made by me // Sweater: Target, similar // Skirt: Target, similar? // Scarf: From Germany last year
I liked Sunday's hairstyle, and it still looked good on Monday, so I kept it in.
T-Shirt: Down East Basics // Sweater: Banana Republic // Skirt: Gap, similar
Tuesday was the day I bought yarn, after much deliberation, at the wool, yarn, spinning and silk store in town. I wore my bird's nest necklace, which I made myself from this tutorial, but have never "featured" on the blog. It's probably the necklace I wear the most.
Shirt: Target, similar // Jeans: Levi's, similar // Belt: Target // Bag: Made by me // Necklace: tutorial here
One of these days I hope to do a post featuring all the exact clothes I brought as a how-to-pack-really-light-for-3-months-travel.

Sunday is my favorite, but you look darling in all! (I love it when a hairstyle keeps kickin' for another day!)
ReplyDeleteYep, when I look over this collection of pictures I always like Sunday's best too. :) I think adding a scarf just pulls everything together. Thank you for your kind compliment.
DeleteI'm a fan of this post. I think you should do another one like it. Always like to see what others wear. =)
