Morel Mushrooms

Can you believe I've never had any before? I remember way back when I was a little girl someone gave us one, or we found it in the yard, and it sat forlornly it a ziplock bag in the fridge for a long time and no one ate it. Still not sure why. There's lots of talk of folks hunting for them, and I know they're terribly expensive to buy. I've never done the hunting part (maybe because I'm justly terrified of getting poison ivy in the process), but happily, I have a sister-in-law who went turkey hunting this spring and came back with mushrooms. (She did get a turkey too...) Enough mushrooms in fact, to share with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Naomi.
I dipped them in a beaten egg, then a mixture of almond-coconut flour with seasoning salt. Repeated, then fried them in butter.
And they were delicious.

Oooooh!!! I LOVE those mushrooms!!! That meal looks incredible!!!
