A wedding

Daniel's sister got married this past weekend!

It was a lovely weekend, full of roses, last minute sewing, bobby-pins, meeting new people, smiles, hugs, picture-taking, silk, guys in tuxes, mocha freezes, sparklers and happy memories.

One of the reasons weddings are such fun, is that everyone gets dressed up.

Daniel bought his first suit and a narrow tie, I made Natasha's dress and sash, and I got a new sweater, and made a skirt out of silk dupioni!)

Here we are with the happy new Mr. and Mrs.

Wes and Lydia are now somewhere very warm, where it never snows. Unlike here, where we will probably soon be blasted with some very wintery weather. :)
