December came and went...

With inspiration from Pinterest, the kids helped me make a rustic barn for our nativity scene. I love how it turned out. We hung a felted star that Lincoln made, in the top, and it was the perfect addition to our Christmas decor.

For neighbor gifts this year I decided to go with something non-edible. That is, for humans. It's mostly for the neighborhood birds. These birdseed ornaments are simple to make and turned out very nicely. The key is, to hang the ornaments where the birds can perch on something underneath, so as to easily reach their snack.
