Quilting with Christine

On my 10th birthday, I had a quilting party.
Every guest was to make a quilt square and I was going to have a friendship quilt.
That quilt is still not done. 14 years later.

My goal was to have it done before our first baby arrived...but as you can guess, that didn't happen. So I have a new goal: Finish it before we move!

I'm not much of a quilter, but my friend Christine is quite experienced and *very* good at it. She graciously came to assist me, and was able to get all my unfinished, odd sized squares to the same size, AND make up several more squares to fill in the gaps.

I can't tell you how happy I am with the progress we she made. She got more accomplished in one day than I could have gotten done in one week! She even helped me sort fabric and did it all with a smile.

By the end of the night we were tired, but it was a satisfied tired. Christine left me with *complete* quilt squares, ready for the sashing, instructions on what to do next, and her cell phone number so I can text her with any questions. :)

I am a happy quilter now.
