Natasha's 1st birthday party

We sang to a sweet little girl...

I prepared a special table and "memory corner" for her.

Including a moss covered "N". (Used this tutorial. Could not locate moss on a roll though, so I just used it from a sheet and cut it to size. And, my initial isn't wooden; couldn't locate a nice one I liked. Found a suitable light weight "N" at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and it's perfect.)

My sister picked tulips for the centerpieces...

We had cheesecake...

...and brownies.
Pause.
You are looking at a pile of powdered sugar and sweetened condensed milk goodness.
My sister-in-law made these, and wow.
Oh. So. Good.

I cut up two old sheets and serged the edges for personal napkins.

And basted a doily onto an old flour sack which was covering the thermos with homemade lemonade. Mmmm....

There were gifts...

...and lots of smiling, clapping and laughing.
