Newborn Gown Sewing

There have been a small amount of babies arriving or about to arrive, in my friend and family group recently, so I decided to sew up some baby gowns as gifts. These are ideal for those newborn nights when you're changing diapers in the dark and need quick access without a lot of fuss. I used Rachel's Newborn Gown pattern, which is free. I did try something new and tried a knotted version rather than an elastic casing at the hem for a couple. I really think both turned out quite cute.

A couple went in the mail for friends and a couple went directly to the recipients.

One of those new babes is my very own niece, Nova. Nothing quite like snuggling a newborn.
